The band was founded in 1971 in Enkhuizen, a picturesque town about 50 km. north of Amsterdam with a very strong jazz tradition. The members of this band were inspired by New Orleans jazz and still play their own exhuberant version! Their musical ability, together with the energy and enthusiasm they put into their show, mean that they are really appreciated by their audiences.
They like to do their own arrangements of well-known jazz numbers from “Bix to King” and from “Lewis to Duke”. They have maade many recordings and have played with many internationally-known jazz artists.
